I generally pop into backyard chickens on my mother's account when I want to check something out, but to my surprise I found that there are a ton of roleplayers on this website!
So I had to ask if anyone on here also plays Aywas!
For those of you who don't know about the game, it features:
- 100% Custom drawn virtual pets, which you can breed (offspring hand drawn by site artists)
- partially customized site pets (i should just say all pets are breedable unless stated otherwise on their profiles)
- 1000s of site pets to catch and own, which are mostly user tweaked or colored versions of site pets.
- Roleplay in forums. Many people play as their customs!
Now before you ask "is this something I have to pay for" I will tell you I've been playing as long as Aywas has been open (3 years+?) and the only money I've ever spent on it was for a charity fundraiser, and I own 261 custom pets. Fully customized pets DO cost real money currency (gp), but you can obtain it from other players for easily obtainable site cash (bp), or through the many events, and contests that Aywas holds. Partially cutomized pet creation items can be readily gathered during events. I have so many I wonder if I'll ever use them all to be honest haha.
So for examples I'll use the "Reve" pet, since it is a bird, and this is backyard chickens after all
Here is an example of a site pet (with no customization aka "edits", some DO come with "edits"):
An example of a customized reve (this one with the old lineart made to look like a peacock):
And someone's 100% custom Silkie Chicken pet (which has become a popular selling breed on site):
Blank bases of site pets are provided to anyone who wants to bring their own artistic creations to life!
As an artist I'm in love with this site =X.
There are tons of pets. This is just a miniscule sample of what's on site.
So if you haven't checked it out I highly recommend it!
If you have, let me know! As I said before, with all the roleplayers here, I wouldn't be surprised if some of you already play or know of it! Would love to put some names to... chicken-lovers!
