Anyone else waiting for ducks to hatch?????

Well, the temperature wasn't way too hot. It's good to keep still air incubators at 101. I'm so sorry you lost your only one

hopefully next time will be better. why did you only have one?
Well, I tried a bunch of other ones, but they were ALL duds except for this one.

That's way too hot. I don't know if the chalaza being broken had anything to do with it since you said it may have happened when you broke the egg, but it's the temp spike that probably killed it. :(

I'm so sorry, Meredith.
I did research and read that it's not to hot . . . I even read it on BYC. It said that a still air bator had to be 102-103! The duck was fine until that one day. I think that bacteria killed it. That's my honest opinion.

Thanks, anyway, Amy.
