Anyone else's chickens afraid of snow.

Pics
I live in Wisconsin, since the deep freeze started and 7 more inches snow the chickens do not go out.
Otherwise they did before. There is nothing really for them to forage. It is as if they know. Otherwise before I open the door they be off and running to find a bare spot in the snow they can forage.

I give mine food scraps & slices of bread(they love bread) in the run daily, -8 degree's below zero & more snow, but they come out for treats!! I like to get them out in the run so I can clean up after them in the coop. They come back in when done. Also from WI. for those of you concerned about cold, I just set-up a heat lamp fixture with a flood lite 2' off the floor for those that want to nestle under some warmth, I have been doing this many years.

Today was the first significant snow we've had since we got our Buff Orpingtons last spring. They didn't even want to stay in the covered run for too long. Spent all morning in the coop. We had a lull in the storm this afternoon. I opened up the run door, to let them out, and they freaked out and ran into the coop. . My rooster pecked at the snow that blew into the run, but that's it. I guess the term "chicken" is justified. Does anyone have chickens that are scared of the snow?
My ladies hate it. I free range every day, but since the snow has come.. they rather stay on dry ground close to coop. I tried to putting their favorite treats on the snow, but they won't budge.

Ours HATE snow. They will NOT have it---
They park on the porch and sit there and poop.
LOL, my hubby made this from a photo of some of them!
