Anyone else's diamond dutchess lay eggs yet?

Mine are either Diamond Dutchess or Sapphire Sky. They were supposed to be Barred Rocks, but there was clearly some kind of mix up wirh either the delivery or the labeling at the store.

ANYWAY! Here are the eggs:

Ignore the tan one, it was the first egg by one of my Australorps. They are about 2/3rds the size of a store bought egg.

Mine aren’t laying yet at 16 weeks. Can you post a pic of the egg?

Ohh I did it so the top row and the last one in the second row is from one her first egg to yesterday the bottom row is my other diamond dutchess eggs are different colors

I’m so eggcited because one of my girls’ combs has turned red and the other two are getting redder. Hopefully we will see some of those beautiful eggs soon!

I knew mine wher close to laying when I got close or tryed to touch them theys stomp ther feet get low to the ground and put out ther wings id pet them and they'd fluff out soon as they do that start watching for eggs

Those look really green !

They range from more of an olive green to a really pretty seafoam. I have been saving some of the shells for...something...I haven't decided what yet.
