Anyone ever had a gender-confused duck?

So one of my ducks is experimenting with drake behavior. I've never had one like this before. She is okay being apart from the other two. She has also been biting the neck of the other female and even tried to mount her (I think.) They're all about four months old, so just coming into maturity.

Anyone else ever seen this?

Four of my ducks will act out mating behaviors with each other every so often when in the pool. I have 8 ducks and one drake. This seems to be a fairly common thing with my girls.

One of my groups of ducks consists of a Muscovy male, two Pekin females and a female Rouen. The Rouen and a Pekin do this.

I have muscovys that have done this before. I've read that the males will mount other males if their are not enough females around. I've never had my Pekins do it as far as I've noticed.

I have 5 Indian Runners and a Pekin, all female and they have.. what I can only describe as lesbian orgies in the pool. They only do it if I skip a day of cleaning it out and they just seem to be celebrating the clean water or something, I don't know lol

Just keep an eye on them in water to be sure no one is accidentally drowned by ..erm, their passions.

Haha, okay sounds fairly common then. I've also only noticed it in the pool. I really hope they're smart enough to not drown eachother in there.
