Most of mine are still unnamed, the others just named themselves. 1 of our rooster's names is Cogburn, I know, real original right? We just got back from a week's vacation and the first thing I did was check on them. They were fine, which I knew they would be, I left good instructions for my son to follow. Well, they have a roost in the run because the coop isn't quite ready yet, (just need to finish the open wall) and Cogburn started dancing, it was so cool, he was happy to see us home. Now he dances every morning when I leave for work, if he can stop crowing long enough to dance, that is.
They're about 10 weeks old and I'm just loving watching them. I have no idea what kind Cogburn is and while I would like to know, it just doesn't matter anymore. He's won us over.
He knows his name and so does Albert, he's a bantam Cochin roo that was just a chubby little ball of fluff when we got him, he was easy to name (fat Albert) the female version of Albert is Alberta, not sure she likes it much, she ignores us. ;p
