Anyone ever have a hermaphrodite duck?

I had a hermaphrodite Call duck Hen.
She was injured at a young age from my Drake. She never was a Hen or a Drake. She would get a Drake feather but quacked and wasn't a threat to my Drake. I gave her away to a pet home because she wouldn't stop breeding other hens to the point of annoying.

Really! Did you ever catch a glimpse of any male organs during mating? My Joanne isn't annoying and I don't mind is shes boy, girl, neither or both... just want to know what's going on with her.

No, what happens is they suffer ovary damage and that causes them to be that way. She never grew a penis but had a Drake curl and quacked. She loved to set eggs from other hens and bred hens too. She was best buddies with my Drake .

So to me, that's not really a hermaphrodite. She was just a little girl that couldn't lay eggs because of ovary damage. My girls mount each other all the time.

On a mission to update what i've learned since past threads i've created. Joanne is a boy, with a curly tail feather and a boy voice. Haven't seen a penis, but he also defends the women when the one rooster gets too close, so feeling all boy, not half girl.
