Anyone ever heard of muskrats killing ducks?g on the mank of my pond

Sounds like you've got a Mink coat on order.

Sorry about the duck, I know I would be very mad/sad to loose one of my girls.

I had one of my Muscovys go missing this afternoon. I went looking for her only to find a wing covering a muskrat hole. When I went to get the wing I find that it is not just a wing, but most of the bird pulled down into the hole. everything from her crop to her skull was stripped to the bone.

Apparently they could not get her all the way down in the hole and just ate what they could.

I have never heard of such a thing. I let her out of the duck hous this morning and she was perfectly healthy, she flew down to the pond witht he others with no issue, so I dont think she died and they drug her in there. I am pretty sure they killed her.
One of my Pekins was killed this summer. The animal had stripped its neck of feathers and there was a tooth wound in top of ducks head.
I caught what looked like a fisher on backyard cam only mins before I found ducks body.
Today I saw a dead muskrat on the street here after the dept of hwys busted a beaver dam only hundreds of yards from our house.
