Anyone ever just buy some coop plans?

Our last home designed one just isn't working. I was wondering if anyone has had any luck with the websites or ebay that sell the detailed plans?

There's really no need to buy anything.

Any number of books exist, at your library or accessible from other libraries via interlibrary loan (which is free), on building SHEDS, with detailed plans and instructions.

A chicken coop is just a shed with more ventilation, a popdoor and a roost

We're in the middle of building the one from thegardencoop.com. We're about halfway done and so far it's been great. We keep saying "best $20 we ever spent" just because all we have to do is follow the directions--otherwise I know we'd be standing around trying to figure out what step to do first, etc.

I bought plans but then moved before I had a chance to use them. One less thing to think about! Now I'm rehabbing an old outbuilding so I don't know when I'll ever get to use them. Maybe as a hospital coop?
