Thank you so much, honestly we have no clue. LOL It has been really fun to do this with my DH. We have taken things apart and redone them several times but we figure oh well we are learning as we go. DH mantra has been cut twice never measure.

We haven't picked out a breed of chickens yet, but I did buy Raising Chickens for Dummies (describes us to a tee) and Keeping Chickens by Ashley English and of course I have now spent a ton of time on here.

after you've been on here for awhile you'll see what I mean. we started out with 10 chickens mama and 9 chicks now we have 24, but before I gave some away we had 36

Here is our open coop that we just finished. I am so glad I left the front completely open and focused on a secure run because the heat and humidity here have been horrible
