Anyone ever used starter fluid on a chicken?

    I have been online all night trying to find a cure for the maggots on my new hen. She does have a wound [​IMG] And I have seen ALOT of replies online saying to use starter fluid that it kills the maggots..[​IMG]

    I wouldn't do that. I would pick them off and clean her with anti-bacterial soap. Then put Neosporin on and hope for the best.

    I'm actually surprised the other chickens aren't eating the maggots off of her. They love those things [​IMG]

    Never spray starting fluid on a chicken. It would be very painful, probably cause it to go into shock because it is so cold.
