Anyone ever used starter fluid on a chicken?

I have been online all night trying to find a cure for the maggots on my new hen. She does have a wound

And I have seen ALOT of replies online saying to use starter fluid that it kills the maggots..

I wouldn't do that. I would pick them off and clean her with anti-bacterial soap. Then put Neosporin on and hope for the best.

I'm actually surprised the other chickens aren't eating the maggots off of her. They love those things

Never spray starting fluid on a chicken. It would be very painful, probably cause it to go into shock because it is so cold.
