Here is a sikie I got from a swap meet last spring.

I think I just counted 6 little toe nails! Cool!

If you don't mind, I'll put something up on the weird toe parade. One of my broodies hatched this guy a couple years back. What's especially interesting is that in this particular cross, the males have white skin and the females have dark skin.

That’s because you made a sex link cross.
If you cross a cock with dark skin like a Silkie to hens with yellow legs then the resulting pullets will hatch with dark skin and legs and cockerels will have yellow skin and legs.

I had a Lavender Silkie pullet who had 6 toes on each foot. Sadly she passed away.

Yep. That's why I hatched that cross. The bit that caught my interest was that the weird toe on the cockerel matched the pullet skin.

I have a Silkie x Easter Egger pullet who has 5 toes on 1 foot and 4 toes on the other foot.

I am sitting in the ER catching up on this thread. A Momma Broody with spurs tore my hand up this morning. I reached in to dump the baby food and in under a second, she got me. It felt like I was being shot with huge steel ball bearings from a machine gun. She spurred me over a dozen times in under 1 second, cracked the largest bone in my index finger and broke middle finger.
