Anyone explain this?

While I was watching my ladies in the garden today I observed my youngest lady Harriet doing something very odd. Her chest seemed to 'ripple', she stretched her neck upwards and opened her beak as wide as she could then returned to normal....
First time I thought maybe chickens quietly burped??? but after quite a few performances I thought she was either choking? yawning? or about to chunder?

What is she doing? and is it normal?

Chickens do all kinds of things. She was probably yawning, or possibly had something tickling her throat. I wouldn't worry too much unless she seems to do this all the time.
