I have seen pictures of these chickens on various hatchery sites. I would really like to get some, but I was wondering what type of temperment they have? I read one that said they were raised as fighting birds, and didn't get along well with other roos, and then another that said they were very tame, and friendly. All my chickens are free range, except the broodies, and a few motherless chicks, and I have really gotten attached to my dutch splash roo. I don't want to get something that might seriously injure him, or worse! Also, the hatcheries I have checked that have them are sold out for this season. Any idea where I could get some? Eggs or chicks, either one. These are really beautiful birds, and I just HAVE to have some!!
