anyone from central illinois????

Just wondering if anyone was from illinois, or central illinois. I am between springfield, and bloomington, and my daughter lives in peoria illinois.

I am from Greenview, Illinois. I am thinking about starting a website for chicken owners/hobbyist from Illinois. That way we can buy, sell, and swap items or poultry.

I have been hatching out Marans eggs in my incubators. I am buying the eggs on eBay. I am sure that I will have more chicks than I can deal with. Since they are Marans, I hate to eat all the extras. But I will if I have to. If you are interested please send me an email.

Well, I don't know where it is really, but my DH was born in Elgin and raised in Streamwood. Is that central??? I've never been there, but he misses it. Steph

I have 5 - 9 week olds. Not sure the sex. 4 are white with black spots on tail and back of neck. 1 is all black. Narrows it down huh? LOL.

Any one having problems with buffalo knats?
