Meant to add...Dorothy, My mom is on the northshore also. She has chickens.

She is probably north of you. She is near Covington. I grew up there.

Hi all. Sorry that I haven't responded. Been busy.
I live in Ponchatoula.

menkot & obsessed : I am west of both Covington and Slidell.

Keeping up with a 3 yr. old & a 5 yr. old is busy work. I am either fixing food and feeding, fighting to make them take a nap or breaking them up from fighting.

Thanks. My sister lives in Kentwood. It is beautiful up there. Nice and quiet, unless you are at my sisters house. lol She has chickens, dogs & cows. Wants horses and anything else she can get.

She is going to get 4 ducklings from me if they hatch.
