Anyone from Quebec, Canada , and willing to sell fertile eggs ?

I live in Coteau du Lac, and I have 4 Rhode Island Reds, 4 Barred Rocks, 7 Ameracanas, 4 Silkies and 4 Silkie Cochin mixes...and one Quail! Oh, and of course, Moose, a white Jersey Giant roo...the 3 other roos are Cosmo, white Silkie roo, Barney, Barred Rock and Monty, Silkie Cochin mix (actually, i'm convinced he's an alien because of the sounds he makes, haha)...I got most of them in Ontario, but am always looking to widen the Silkie gene pool :)

Ha ha Mari, your quite funny, i found someone to ship me some fertile eggs , blue wyandotte and wheaten marans !!!!! So anxious from briarwood farms , they got alot of choice, i too would like some silkies and frizzles, i now have red,s , plymouth rocks, easter eggers, cochin, bantam mixes, partrige and buff chanteclers .... Thats about it

About $40.00 a dozen, for the blue wyandotte , they're on face book and google briarwood poultry, she told me about $60.00 of shipping for two dozens, its expensive but ill be back in money fast enough, i always use my egg money ( the eggs i sell ) to buy chicken stuff

Hi,

I don't have any eggs for you but I do have a question. Do you know where I can find the laws concerning backyard chickens? I'm in Pontiac County, (same as you?). I'd like to start raising some chickens but I'm having a hard time finding information for my area.

Thanks and good luck finding your eggs.

You can call the municipality where youo live and they will have the information that you're looking for.
Even better is pop in and speak in person so that they can show you the laws on paper.

For hatching eggs and chicks I know of a good place to buy from in St.Jerome...Paul Bissonnette at 514-947-8380. He has a large variety of pure bred poultry of all kinds and is very nice to talk to. You can also find him on the following site and many other sellers in Quebec.

Please post if you do get anything from here as we'd like to know what your experiences are. If you speak to Paul tell him Norma sent you LOL.

Where is Pontiac county? I'm in Coteau du Lac (between Montreal and the Ontario border)...I have 2 roosters to give away...both come with 2 hens, because i hate to send them away alone. One is a banty Cochin and the other is a 6 week old Barred Rock...any takers? :)
