Greetings from Ridgeway, South Carolina!
What part of UK are you in? I spent 3 years in Oxfordshire with the Air Force. Loved it! I started the coop last fall and got the chickens in April. Got 2 Buff Orpingtons, 2 Rhoade Island Reds, and 2 Barred Roks to start and added 2 Easter Eggers later. Thought I had 8 hens and then one by one they started to crow I had 3 roosters (1 Buff and 2 RIR). I have since added 4 Black Orpinton hens and I built a Roo-Cave to get the boys out of the coop and run with the girls (you can see this on my BYC page).

Hi I'm also from uk Shoreham in West Sussex. Welcome. I got my first chickens in April this year. Two Bantam hens and a cock. Because of reading on this site I decieded to let them hatch three eggs. I now have two more hens and one more Cock. This site is addictive although I don't always write on it I spend hours reading.
