Anyone going to Perham MN exotic sale? April 13

If so I would love to meet up with others.
What are you bringing?
would love to get some interesting hatching eggs, or Finches.

I cant go as I am only 14 but I love exotics and would love to see pictures of the critters after the show.
Have you ever been to www.exoticanimalsforsale.net? great website with all sorts of exotics from birds to fish to livestock and mammals!

Jim, I'm going... I plan on bringing hatching eggs, in a range of blue, white or dark brown. I haven't separated breeds yet, still running 2 breeds together, so they be crossbreeds right now. I have some adults to sell as well. Just got my hatchery permit for the season. I'm looking for BB White poults, meat rabbits, and cages. I may bring a calf or lamb back for fall butcher.


What about you? ...and BTW - my big 5-0 is the 12th, so this is a treat to myself.

Forgot to mention - I only pay inside if I actually plan on buying something through the ring.

I am never sure what I will be getting. It always seems that if I go with a certain need, then that always goes high. If I can land a female reeves pheasant that would be great. But any odd bird is always of interest to me.

I only have a three hour drive, so I will be there!
Hopefully it will mean that all the stuff I am interested in will be there, and all the people who weregoing to bid against me will stay home because of the weather!

Well, I just got home, what a loooong day!
I ended up with about a dozen assorted fancy pigeons, they were just too pretty to resist.
I also picked up 5 dozen hatching eggs, the ones that were in the ring at the beginning of the sale, were these from any of you?
Chickens were just too rich for my blood there, but I guess I am just cheap.
Had a great time, other than the solid ice roads getting there.
What did anyone else get?
