Anyone got turtles? Need advice!

They have their floating log that they bask on under their special lamp, but I'd like a more stable, bigger place for them to be. I think we need to do some turtle planning!

Good advice on filtration on this thread,
I have to add what I do for mine during the winter , it sees to help the larger canistr type filters do their jobs a bit better.

I have a mid size black pond I bring in for winter with the proper filtration, the twist is though I use an aquarium vac to remove any and all matter on the bottome of the pond..
anything organic is swept into a bucket and recomposted in the compost pile.
I have found that by doing this I have to spend less time cleaning the filter.
and there is much less phew factor.
