Hi All...I love this forum because there are so many knowledgeable "peeps" here.
I have 2 eggs that the mama abandoned (she has already hatched out babies that ANOTHER hen abandoned at about this same time frame!) so she has 3 babies that are 3 weeks old...she hasnt been steady on the nest now for a few days...I candled the 6 eggs..2 dis...2 empty and 2 that I 'think' might go ahead and hatch even though yesterday was 21 days...I read a bunch of different pages online where people are having luck hatching their eggs in the electric skillet...just curious if anyone else has tried it here.
Unfortunately none of my other hens are broody right now or I'd put them under one of them. LOL
