Anyone had problems with vaccinating their children?

I am not pro, or anti vaccine... I believe that its a parents right to decide!.. so with that disclaimer out of the way...

Be sure you know your rights and the limits of the doctors/school boards ect...

The province of Ontario expelled my son because he did not have his vaccine. Refused to allow him into school until he had the vaccine.

He DID have the vaccine but my doc at the time was a quack pot and wrote the date 25/02/92 instead of 25/02/93 for one of his injections and they (the health dept aka the government) told me that I had forged on the date myself and it was not valid. so my choices were this:
1) get him re vaccinated
2) provide proper proof
3) dont enroll him in school again he is not allowed in to school without them

My doc was a wack job.. but what ever

to get him re vaccinated was not an option
i did have proper proof
I had to file a human rights complaint against the school, and the local health dept and I WON.. but I had to file a conscious exclusion form which stated that if there was an outbreak out at the school I would have to withdraw my son from school till the out break was done

later on I got a doc with a brain in his melon and ran a titer test that proved he was immune and did in fact receive the vaccine in question

My nephew had a very bad reaction to one of the vaccines when he was a little baby. I don't remember which one, but he started having seizures. None of my children have had any problems, but I did not allow them to get whatever they want to inject with them as newborns at the hospital, and I also skipped their first set they want to give them when they're just a few months old. I also am careful not to let them get too many vaccines at once, I think it is too hard on their little bodies... so I try to spread it out some. I also do NOT let them get the Flu or H1N1 vaccines.

I skipped the H1N1 vaccines for our family- I thought to myself, "Hmmmm, the maufatures took thermisol OUT of our kids vaccines years ago- Thermasol is a PRESERVATIVE (supposedly) and yet, those same manufatureers put it back INTO a vaccine they KNEW was going to be used extremely quickly (thus not needing a preservative), and it was given free to all the school kids in my area. Hmmmm, it just seemed off to me, so we skipped it.

And we all caught it too (h1n1)- and it was mild and not anything horrible and I'm glad I made the right choice for us. Maybe we got lucky, maybe the mediahyped it up beyond belief. Either way, a whole heck of a lot of kids got a lot of thermasol put into their bodies for no real reason by the very people who took it out of all their other vaccines. Weird.

PS. I may be spelling thermasol wrong...

Thimerisol was only in the multi-dose vials of flu vaccine. The nasal and single dose vials did not have thimerisol which was mostly what was being offered around here. You could request it if you wanted.

Why Mercury is not to blame for autism....something to consider at least.....

At the same time, why is mercury considered so dangerous, but each and every vax contains amounts that are considered unsafe for adults,
but are injected into our little ones on a regular basis?

Well, I remember when kids would bring it to school from a broken thermometer and we'd play with it, passing it from one kid to the next and the next. At worst the teacher would take it away and say "get back to work." At best we'd get a mini-science lesson. Now they call out hazmat and send the kids to the hospital "just in case."

The benchmark dose lower limit for mercury is 58 micrograms per liter of blood . Don't confuse the actual dose someone gets with the amount in the blood - doesn't compare.

But I think we are getting off topic here............
