Anyone hatching around July 7th and 12th?

Well, the final count is 9. I candled the other 4 eggs and there was absolutely no movement.

The last little one hatched about an hour ago.

I have 6 black and 3 white Silkies. I don't think that's too bad.

On the down side, today was day 8 for my Lavender Silkie eggs. Not one is fertile.

Seriously, what are the chances of that??? The USPS probably knocked them around too much.

Or, they weren't fertile to begin with.

Oh well, try, try again.

AK let those eggs roll another three days and candle again you might be surprised. No harm in letting em roll. I've had a few silkies (and guineas) surprise me, developing under the yolk near the middle where it's hard to see.

Ok well 5 out of six not bad the 6th looks like it dies around day16 or so not fully ready. So i got 4 off white silkies and one mixed which was from the last few days my hen was alive we had put a brama bantam roo in there to keep her company. So he has black skin and is red brown and buff but his feet are peach but has the 5th toe LOL. When they all fluff in a day or so I will take pictures only one ee egg has a pip. But not worried last time these ee eggs i thought were dead and was going to toss piped on day 24 so i will give them a few more days. Congrats everyone on there babies.
