The rest either pipped on day 20 and hatched day 21 or pipped and hatched on day 21.

sorry to be of no help mine hatched on day 21 then my pheasants started on day 23/we ended up with 11 LB's and 3 pheasants so far 1 of our chicks has a problem though it has a head tick and just walks in a circle to the left our temps where good and humidity hope its ok we have been giving it vitamins and electrolites.

Will you see there egg rolling around befor they start pipping usually?
Still nothing but it is earlie in the morning still... and only day 20.
Haha.. i even played chick noises by the incubator to try and get them to hatch!
I think mine will probably not start until day 21 like a lot of chickies.

And AC, I heard mine peeping (not pipping) on day 20 also or at least hear them moving in their egg. All of my eggs did this on day 20, regardless if they were pipped or not.

Maybe they will start peeping and rolling around tomorrow morning then.. (day 20 tomorow if you count the very first day as 0)

Thanks SunnyChik. I have 2 beautiful babies. The blue and the
second one is light in color. The rest had died in the shells. Most before the yolk was absorbed. A few were totally ready. 1 had completely zipped then died.

I really need to learn what went wrong. I had a few really good hatches & the last 2 some died in the shell. My first hatch I got 8 of 9.

The broody has the 2 chicks & the 3rd never pipped. I opened it this morning to see when it died. It was alive but died quickly.
The yolk had been absorbed.

I put the 2 araucanas with the broody & she accepted them. Momma hen has 4 pretty babies.

I am certain your hatch will go much better. After your babies come out alive & well please tell me how you incubated them. Temp.
Humidity. Fan or still air. etc.

Thank you.

You have heard of the rain dance. This is the chick hatch dance.

I know your heart is sad; I'm so sorry about your hatch. What a blessing that 2 survived and that you have a sweet broody that took them to raise. I'll be sure to let you know how my hatch turned out; day 21 is this Friday (7/31).

I'd love to see a pic of momma and her 4 babies!
