Anyone hatching Dec 14th? Looking for hatching buddies for 1st hatch!

I have 2 quiters.Now I'm down to 8 eggs.Can't understand why they quit so late in the game.They got a week to go.Strange

Thanks! I think I will wait to candle again. However, what I did see was like the air pocket. But it seems to me that is what a regular egg would look like! I will wait and see. This is so much fun!

I am getting ready to put my eggs on lockdown. I will snap a few pictures if my wife will stop wiping this god awful Nivea cream on me. I hate this fru fru smelling stuff and she thinks its soooo funny.

I have 3 I think are quitters too. That takes my original 30 down to 10. I have 2 more sets in that seem to be doing better though. I guess for a first timer, 1/3 making it to lockdown isn't all that bad. At least I tell myself that.

Well I washed off enough Nivea cream to be able to handle the eggs so here is a pic of them right before I locked them down.

How many did you lose due to them being infertile or scrambled?

On my first batch I only had 3/9 hatch but all 6 that didn't hatch were infertile.
