I set my eggs on thanksgiving. The hatch date is next thursday. I have french Black Copper Marans, Icelandics, silkie, buff sussex, old english and maybe some EE.

Thanks, I was really feeling low when nothing happened last night and when I went in to check on them this morning I was estatic, I went and jumped on the bed and woke my hubby up, he was no where near as excited as me, lol, but I couldn't help it!! I couldn't wait to get to work to tell you guys!!!

At least your husband "likes" chickens! I start talking chicken and my family gets a zombie stare going on. I mentioned something about "my friends" last night, meaning you all and my husband was like, "there's more of you????"

I think he's finally realizing that I can sell them and make a profit after selling the bunch that I did this past weekend. So hopefully he will back off now!!

Also Melissa rose, I didn't get my swing built yet. I asked my DH for some eyebolts and he asked why. I explained what I was going to make and the size of log I needed. He said if I couldn't find one in the wood pile he would cut a tree down for me.

I was expecting him to make fun of me, but he was all for it. I think he's turning into a chicken "liker" kinda, maybe???

Sounds like he's coming around if he's willing to cut a tree down so you can make a swing,

it's hard not to love em once your around them enough. I still wanna make a swing, Mellissa, you could make some money selling those, I am not very handy, anytime I try to make something myself it turns into a disaster!
