You rock. Thanks for the support! The prize isn't important to me at all. That having been said, it's a visit with this guy Cooper Boone to your house to create a recipe with him but more importantly in my mind is the promotion of backyard chicken keeping to thousands and thousands of people.

Hope you win - and can create a recipe including some nice eggs collected from your own flock. How cool would that be!!!!!

I have eggs in Lockdown, I had to toss the 1st three I looked at already, just yolk. Then I just stopped looking with

Hoping I might get something. I got them from a shipper that took 2 weeks to ship & was in the process of moving, & all of her birds to a new house they just bought, then were collected.... If I would have known that I would have waited to by them later...

I got 9/10 of my Phoenix hatch last week, one double pipped and got her yolk sac I think, I didn't dare open the bator to help with all the pips going on. Over the weekend my turner went into full tilt and had to remove the tray to move eggs to fix it...hubby let the dogs in...I dropped 40 chicken eggs, and 45 quail eggs. I salvaged 2 swap eggs and 19 of the quail for the NYD swap out of the mess (alot of developing eggs). Now it is filled back up with the remaining swap eggs, the Hot2pot quail eggs, silkies from Bargain and a bunch of mine...Waiting for 29 Welsh Harlequin duck eggs, I am so crazy, but I figured if going to go all out, I may as well and get it over with right?
