Anyone HATCHING?!?!? Newbie's and addicts WELCOME!!!! Hatch Calendar page 1!!!!

I'm hatching Serama eggs from my own birds. My first go at it was so sad, but hatching Serama has a definate learning curve....lol. The first try I had about a dozen eggs and nothing hatched go figure. I tried hatching them just like I do my Silkie's, didn't work. Plus these were some of my Serama's first eggs and many were not fertile. Some were even completely formed but just didn't hatch. Anyhooooo...I tried again.
I started with a good 2 1/2 doz....24 eggs locked down. they're on day 21 and so far I've hatched 13 and one is pipped....could be even more tomorrow, we'll see. This has been one awesome hatch for my second attempt.

Happy hatching!!!

I had a egg I had taken from my broody that I was unsure of its due date. It pipped yesterday. I couldn't raise the humidity because it was in a full incubator, so I closed the vent and crossed my fingers.

About 8 hours later I had a beautiful peep!!

It zipped and hatched just fine. I was really surprised, I thought it would be one I would have to assist.

I had company all day yesterday and forgot to check my incubator notes and missed a lockdown day

I put 6 splash marans into lockdown this morning. 2 are very questionable, but the other 4 look good
