Here are our first new baby, all fluffed up The other hatched this afternoon and is still drying. The rest didn't make it,

I was going to move them to the LG in case some might still have chance but when I candled I knew they were all quitters. I am super excited about my new fuzzy butts though!!

I will look at them in a few to see if any have internally pipped. I am impatient that way

Sheesh it's only day 6 for me.... This is gonna be looooooong wait. Then I have more cuckoo silkie eggs coming soon! So excited to hatch more of those!

bikerchic, I'm in the same boat! I only have 2 serama eggs that have made it this far, and they've both internally pipped but I have yet to see any more progress from either of them. Ugh! Hope we both get some good news soon tomorrow around noon marks the beginning of day 21 for my eggs, so I guess I have some time...

Oh cool, glad to know I'm not alone! The wait is torture but I just keep doing it. I think I have 8 or 10 developing. I have a bunch of shipped eggs that aren't showing any development, so just down to my own eggs. I will be getting more though and testing out my new incubator when it arrives!

Thanks bikerchic! I think paints are so fun to hatch because you never know how many spots you're going to see! That's what always keeps me going. I wish I could hatch them all!! Maybe I shouldn't have ordered a bigger bator......

Did you say your new one is going to hold 600 eggs???

Are you going to make sure it holds that many???

I hope you're able to soon! It's unfortunate that it's so complicated to get them to you . Paint chickens bring the world happiness! They are no threat to national security!

ya i know but u know how the government works and i am hoping to get them this spring or summer and the chicks ima gina have are gina be a big enough handful but i love them and then im getting 24 chicks may 3rd but ill see what happens i was thinkin feb but prob should wait till atleast april when weather nicer and how many eggs u trying to hatch i had 27 but done to 21 strong and 3 ifys rest were duds
