Candled my Splash Marans eggs today (yay for day seven!) and so far 9 of them are showing development, 2 were very obviously clear so I pulled those (one blood spot, one scrambled,) and 2 look pretty clear but I'm on the fence so I left them. Still a little worried though as several of them have some pretty jiggly looking air cells... but 9 out of 15, not too shabby so far, knock on wood! My patched up egg is still going strong so hopefully he/she makes it, I never realized this before but that one I labeled as lucky egg number #13. LOL. I'm really rooting for it, I think it's my favorite egg... is that possible?
And I feel you all on the post office abusing our eggs, not cool! Makes me so mad! My mail ladies always handle them with care when they bring them to me, but somewhere along the line someone must have jostled them around because I had so many detached air cells in this last batch.
Sizzle eggs go into lockdown on Friday!

The catdancesilkie eggs are a lovely assortment!!! Probably 5 whites and 4 blacks and lavender, blue, porcelain etc... I have 19 really good embryos out of 24 and 3 possibles so that's more than I purchased
