He is so sweet and tame! Is your's friendly? I originally picked a Welsummer Roo because I had read that they are less aggressive and easily handled not to mention the beauty of their coloring

My poor battered goose abused Hubby couldn't possibly stand getting attacked by the Roo too

Thank you! yes Mr. Wellington is very nice, he even gets bullied by our little bantam roo

yes he is very nice, almost too nice, lol. I can't wait till my silkie rooster is fully grown!!

Hello,
I'm in the middle of a staggered hatch. Lavendar Orps due on the Nov 2 and Nov 6 also have CJ Silkies due on Nov 5. Am candling LO and Silkies tonight. I hope I have wigglers. I am using an Brinsea Eco 20 and my homemade bator, will see which one does better. I have not had good luck with shipped eggs and am trying again

I have to use a different color for the different hatches. I have to put on the calender which tray I put the eggs in so when it's time for lockdown I don't grab the wrong tray. I do candle when the eggs go into lockdown and pull out any quitters. One time I grabbed the wrong tray and when I started candling I figured out my mistake. I won't do that again.

my aussie game bantam started sitting on some eggs 3 days ago and i was wondering if there is anything i can do to help her out since she is a firt time mum

Yes I have 10 wigglers of the CJ Silkies, I started with 22 and have 10, the others 2 were clear, and the others had blood rings. But being shipped all the way to WY, I feel very fortunate to have that many possibles. I also have 8 out of 10 lav orps who are wigglers, and have 16 others that i will candle on Sun Day 7.

This is my first time with shipped eggs as well, mine are from cj too so I'm in high hopes because she got great reviews! I soooo want to candle mine already, only day 3, I know I need to wait at least until day 5 or 6 but it's so tempting!!! lol

My bo said fragile too, but thepost men pay no attention, I hate the post office, they were suppose to hold them at the po and call me to come pick them up, they ddn't do that, my husband saw the post guy getting it out of the mail truck, even thoit said fragile, he saw him turn it upside down and stuff, so I started with 21, we'll see how many are doing good soon enough!
