I'm so excited!! I have 2 dozen showgirl eggs on the way!

Nothing yet. There is a race, it seems, to be the first to hatch. Right now the leader is one of the marans eggs

The last eggs I hatched were Black Copper Marans and one of them pipped and zipped SUPER fast. It had just pipped so I left to pick up some stuff from the store, I figured I had pleanty of time... nope! Love the calendar!!!

We are due on the 18th (which I really messed up with that date, I will be going to a midnight premier movie and then the same movie again at 10:30 that morning, I cannot believe I did that)! Oh well, guess by the time we get back we will have chickies.

We have 12 eggs in the bator, they are all barnyard mutts from our barnyard mutts.

I didn't think that any of the eggs would be fertile since our roos and our pullets are still quite young, but at least 1/2 of them are, what I can see anyway.

Hey Everyone!
I follow, but not alot of time to post .
I want to wish everyone good hatches today!! I may be going out of town for the day. My dads sis is here from NY and we may go to Tombstone. Waiting on folks to call now with plans. lol...

I hope to see lots of wonderful baby pics later today!

Mine will probably go into lockdown tomorrow.
I think my little egg I cracked and patched is still going good too!

Our little serama kicker egg is still a good kicker, but he seems not as developed or full / dark as the others so I hope he's O.K.

My Aunt is not feeling well so not going to Tumbstone.

I wanted to add, I love the names of the poor egg that fell into the water!

And I'm glad the chick with the sore eye is doing better!

Melissa Again thank you for your help with the leg bands. I ordered 4 sizes this morning, they will last me a lifetime at 100 a pack!

The seller was super with getting back to my questions and helpful with size suggestions! I hope they get here before baby hatches , if not I'll just use a zip tie for a day or 2.

I also have my quail, that the shell got dented that I would like to band and name.

I hope I can get a few more... I helped my first one out, a little white leghorn. The Marans is zipping nicely, though.
