Today is day 14 for me!! I know its a week away from hatch day and I know I dont know how many will hatch! BUT Im still waaay to excited! That calender is WONDERFUL!

Yeah, its ok for the to wait.

I have a very sick silkie. I thought she was going broody but she must have a respitory infection. She's wheezing and clicking when she breathes. Luckily CJ (love her) told me what to give her. I rushed to town and got a antibiotic and gave my first chicken shot. It wasn't nearly as bad as I anticipated. She won't eat or drink. Let's hope she starts feeling better!!

I think one of the marans is frizzled... the seller said there was a chance, and her wing feathers are growing out and her feet feathers as well, and they look funny in the way that only frizzles can.

I'm excited!!! And this means that she is probably a she... already feathering at 5 days old!
