I have a spare room upstairs that I used to use for a studio, that is now a lil brooder area.

(I also have 25 chukars pre-sold) I would like to keep about 20 to have to become egg layers/breeders & about 50 or more to grow to go in the freezer.

I will sell as many as I can, and whatever is left at culling time will be breakfast lunch dinner!

Just got another quail peep! and 6 are "peeking" out of there shell

And another 47 quail eggs to hatch!

So as of now I have 19 coturnix quail peeps and counting....

I have 9 babies in the brooder and 5 more in the hatcher drying out. 14 out of the 16 that went into lockdown with it being an 18 egg auction

Today is day 18 for my silkie chicks, when I went to move them from the incubator one was already pipped. We left for a few hours and came back to 3 pips out of 4 eggs from a 5 egg auction. My last chicks were a week late due to low bator temp, this time the temp was finally better.
