I have one chick that can't poop, she is straining and chirping loudly...... is there anything I can do??????

Today is the day for babies! Congrats everyone! I have 1 cute silkie, could have been a showgirl, its not. Oh well. I have 1 zipping and 1 pipped.

Yeah Melissa! Its beautiful here in VA but cold. I just got throught changing my deep litter. It has been in there 8 months. My coop is all nice and clean!

I was hoping to make it till spring but it needed it now. My girls are having a ball digging around in the new shavings.

I can't wait to see everyones pics!

We've washed her a couple of times, she will poop a little and then stand and strain again and again, one thread said to give her a drop of olive oil, so I did that. The vent is not plugged. I also gave her a vitamin drop and extra water with the dropper. I'll try the pedialyte also...

The olive oil is a good thing too. Maybe put a few drops on a piece of bread and offer it to her.
