We've washed her a couple of times, she will poop a little and then stand and strain again and again, one thread said to give her a drop of olive oil, so I did that. The vent is not plugged. I also gave her a vitamin drop and extra water with the dropper. I'll try the pedialyte also...

A really warm wet cloth held over the vent helps on other animals. It might work for chicks too.
It can't hurt to try. With such delicate little babies it is hard to figure out what is wrong sometimes
