So as for an egg count in the NYD hatch.... How many eggs did everyone start with? & how many do you have left? So I can keep track

I need to recount when I candle this morning


I just put in 45 Ringneck Pheasants, 40 Chukar, and 18 Buff Orps!

I am waiting on...ordered but waiting till after the holidays to avoid crazy postal mail stuff! 24 Cayugas, A dozen Iowa Blues

Welp, I set 16 eggs that are due to hatch January 4th. I just candled & there are 2 with absolutely no development, 2 that look like early quitters, and everybody else is lookin' good! All but 4 of these eggs were shipped eggs, and I'm hopeful that some might actually hatch this time! The four that were from my own yard are showing excellent development, as well. The hen that laid them is a silkie, and the father of the chicks is either a white faced black Spanish roo or a cuckoo silkie roo (those are her two boyfriends LOL). We're actually hoping to see if we get a Spanish/silkie cross so we can call it a "Spilkie." LOL!

I had 4 hatch for the Christmas day hatch, 2 cochins, 1 polish, 1 EE.

I have 2 paints hatched today, 1 pipping.
