I am getting some special bantam Ameraucana eggs to hatch just for them from BanjoeJoe

My little kitty with the shoe came from a banjoejoe egg!

I still haven't seen mine using the swing. Maybe they are waiting on the pretty one

oh agree with everything you said i would keep sooo many ducks if i could.. man they are loud though. i have 9 right now i gave three of my babys to a friend to help cut back a little but i want more.. LOL!!!!
i love those geese too!! they are so cute.. i really want to somehow get some frizzle silkies

Ok so i have a question..... I have been told to keep the water reserves full and temp at 99.5. On the final 3 days not to turn them and pop out the red plugs for extra air flow during the hatching.
However now im reading how some people have different humidity levels during the 21 days.
What works? I would hate for my eggs not to hatch!!

Also was wondering, instead of laying the eggs on the wire mesh can i put a tray in there or put them in an egg carton, ? Do babies get stuck in the mesh?
These set on friday, 12.30 so i have a while yet, hatch date is 1.19

Also if you live in a humid enviroment I would do a search for Dry Incubation and check out what that says. I tried incubating with high humidity and had really bad hatches

Im in california, dont think we are considered humid, or dry....
I have a friend in missouri who only has to fill with water once or twice, and our reserves were empty this morning after only 4 days.
So i dont know if im supposed to just stick to keeping them full or what the rightthing to do is.

I will have to pick up some of the shelf covering! Thanks!!
