Great question!! It has a arm on the side that pulls the tray and rotates the eggs! Yipppeee! The guy who has it doesn't hatch, so I found someone on here that has the owners manuel and emailed it to me.

How cool is that!!! And lucky to find someone with a manuel that old!

Candled again tonight and I have 8 developing, 2 just quit and are bloodrings. I am having trouble getting my LGto stabilize on temp, so really hoping the rest do ok. When temps change outside, my old house fluctuates too, so I have to touch that darn knob. I have something over it to make it easier to make minor turns, but even so, it spiked to 103, then this morning it was down to 97.

Fortunately I've been monitoring it pretty closely so I don't think it's been too much of a swing, but I sure can't wait for my new incubator to arrive!!! I hope it does MUCH better. Only a few more days!

I sympathize. I hatched 10 with the NYD hatch and then bought 3 chicks when I went to buy chick feed, then I set 42 eggs on Sat. I live alone, I'm already getting 4-5 eggs a day from my hens..........

The one with the bigger head fluff is vaulted. It's a good thing.

I can't speak to that, I don't show. I just know that people generally favor silkies with the larger head poof and bearding.
