Thank you all of the kind words!!! I really hope they are just a little delayed
It was day 13 on my free silkie eggs and 2 of my own mutt eggs (ameraucana, silkie cross) .... I am afraid to open that bator at all now!! I might have to stick a few more of my own in there as I have to get rid of my rooster as I live in the city
He is the sweetest little silkie.... I am heartbroken and would love to have one of his offspring to remember him by.
Yesterday was not a good chicken day at my house my 2 week old babies seem to be sneezing
I moved them to a bigger brooder and put them back on paper towels ... I had switched them to shavings but they were a little dusty so I am hoping that is part of the problem. I also gave them ACV, garlic, yogurt and vitamins... any other suggestions??? They seem to be eating just fine and playing.... I don't see any discharge or hear any wheezing .... UGH!!! And I have new chicks hatching in a week.... Hopefully these will be better by then.
