Ok. I know this may be a crazy question, but has anybody ever weighed their eggs to check on growth inside. A growing chick has to weigh more than a non viable egg doesn't it? I'm asking because I'm having a hard time candling and seeing which eggs are growing and which aren't. I thought if I could weigh them I'd have a better idea of growth....

Actually, an egg loses weight as it develops. The air cell in the egg gets larger as water evaporates through the egg shell. Brinsea has some good info about weighing developing eggs in their incubation handbook: http://www.brinsea.com/pdffiles/Brinsea_Handbook.pdf
