Cinderella hatched all 4 of her eggs!!!! I am so proud of her, she's being such a good Mommy!!!

Cinderella brought her 3 day old chicks outside for the first time yesterday so I went picture crazy!!! It was just so darn cute!!!

In other news I have 4 pips today!!!! 2 are trying to zip and 5 eggs still waiting on.... I didn't get to candle before they went into lockdown so there might be some duds in there ..... Lavender Orps!! I tried to hatch these 3 weeks ago and not one out of 18 eggs hatched, thank you USPO. The seller kindly sent me new eggs and I have at least 4 !!!!! So excited!!! Can wait to see what these little ones look like... Of course I am at work so this day is going to DRAG ON FOREVER.

I know, I think so too, I know what you mean by feeling bad too. These chicks seem so much happier having a Mommy rather than being in a brooder it kinda makes me feel bad too, lol. It's not gonna stop me from hatching though!

Congrats on pips!!! Can't wait to see pics! I am usually always at work when mine hatch, it sucks!!! My DH will set a camera up on them sometimes so I don't miss everything, doubt my boss would approve, lol

By the way, I have 2 pips this morning out of my 5 EE eggs! I wasn't expecting to see any action until Friday since that's "Hatch Day".

The 2 pips haven't changed at all and I don't see any new ones.

They're getting ready to hatch so I better get their brooder ready for them.

I have to move my 6 silkies outside into their little coop with a heat lamp. 4 are 6weeks old and 2 are 5weeks old. The weather drops into the 40's at night and daytime is 60's. Do you think the silkies will be OK?
