anyone have a clue about cell phones?

I've put my phone through the wash twice so far and the dryer once. It still works. The dryer was harder on the phone, some of the buttons don't work right anymore, but all in all it still works. After putting it throughthe dryer, it actually took several days for all the buttons to start working again. But my phone has a cover, so the buttons aren't as exposed.

Don't worry there, I am 43? and have 5 kids, still don't remember to check pockets. But what kind of phone is it? My daughter has a phone that has been dropped in toilet at least 3 times, pool twice, and rain storm left in bed of truck, still works today. It is 2 years old come July. She can upgrade then to a new one. don't know if I want her to. Also she ran it over with her truck. By the way it is an LG

LOL I sort the laundry and everything but for some reason pockets always fall to the wayside. I think this little episode has taught me a lesson for sure. If that phone comes out and works I swear I will never put it in my pocket again.

Was it insured, seeing as how it is a business phone. If its insured won't they fix it, or replace it?

Well the cell phone did not make it but the SIM card did. I just went and got another one and put the card in. Disaster fixed. Thanks for all the suggestions.

As for the insured part...no it was my chicken phone. I bought a separate phone to use to sell my birds because my other cell phone has an out of state phone number. No one wants to call a number that is out of state. Makes things sound too fishy. Why does it have an out of state phone number you ask? Well my dad wanted me to be on his family plan and they live in Texas and I could not convince him that I could get a phone here in Arizona and still be on his plan and not long distance to him. He just could not grasp it so he bought a phone in Texas put it on his plan and mailed me the phone.

Just gotta love the parents that don't upgrade with the rest of the planet
