Hi everyone. So I've started researching what's in shampoo and I really want to switch to something more natural now. Do any of you have an all natural shampoo alternative that won't change your hair color?

Also, will eggs change my hair color (I've heard that it can if you leave it in too long)?
Thank you in advance

I have read the book "A wilder life" and it has a couple great shampoo recipes- plus some other great tips for living more naturally. Good luck!

you dont need shampoo, soap does the same job precisely. Soap recipes are plentiful. You can make soap yourself from your own grown items.

I went on this quest myself. It took me about four years to find a solution that worked for my hair but on the way I had some success with several different things. I'm listing them all. :) The first is the one I currently use. I have dark hair, though, so I have no idea if this would add color if you're light-haired.

1. I mix shikakai and brahmi together in filtered water, let it sit overnight and then add more water right before shampooing. No lather but it cleanses very well for my hair. I've been doing this for about two years now and I'll stick with it!

2. Several of these bars are favorites of a friend but they didn't work great for me. My hair has weird issues, though. I do love this brand for body soap and their salves. No hair color changes with these.

3. This one worked okay for me but was more work than my current method. It was super cheap!
