Anyone have a Lil' Giant 6200 turner for sale?

You should be able to get one at your feed store, or wherever you got the bator. Or you cna use the carton method. It is much faster and easier at turning the eggs.

Yes it is really quite simple. You put the eggs, small end down, in the bottom part of an egg carton. Some people tear the sides of the carton down as well, for more air flow, but it doesn't really matter. Take a piece of wood, or other device, to prop on side up, so the eggs get a 45 degree tilt. Then you just turn tilt them from 2-6 times a day, whatever you prefer. Most people say it is better to turn them an odd amount, so they don't always stay in the same position overnight. It is a lot easier than just hand turning, plus it makes for easier clean-up after the hatch. or you could lay them on their sides after the 18th day, whichever you prefer.

Thanks, but I really do need an auto turner. I'm not home all day, and my wife doesn't share my enthusiasm for poultry!

Have you checked Ebay? Of course getting one at TSC or a farm supply would probably be cheaper because of shpg...Unless you find a fabulous deal...

Good Luck, Cindy
