Here is where I am at.
I had eggs (6) in a farm innovator 2100 still air hand turn. After hatching in it almost straight for 6 years? It started to go bananas, on my second to last hatch, but I tried it again and it seemed to be fine until this last hatch with 6 eggs. The temp shot up to 106. I moved the eggs to a Little Giant that had other eggs in it, already warmed. I had a gal friend that I had sold a diff little giant to that had a turner. I requested to borrow it, and she said I could have it back for $25 dollars. I went to her house and hr. away but could not stay long, since I had to be somewhere else. She gave me a 2450 farm innovator with fan, but then could not find the turner. I figured I would just hand turn, and get the turner another time. I was sad it was not the exact same set up, but being different than my last farm innovators, and having not turner, I thought I would request tips if anyone has hatched with a 2450 with out turner, I mean, I know last 3 days you take turner out anyway.
As far as the last FI 2100 I took out the heater, and put a 15W bulb through the hole and covered the rest of the hole with foil. my last 6 are in that one holding a temp of 100 not directly under the bulb. They are on day 18.
