Anyone have a medi-port or portacath?

Yeah, my port is one of a very very few that isn't used for chemo. But I at very least must have b12 as an IV twice a week and my veins are these miserable, rolly polly crappy things. While I'm pregnant, I go up to several b vitamins daily to keep a decent level. So I got a port and I love every little bit about not having to have my arms look like a battle field and having the nurses dig for a vein only to have the vein blow on them 3 times so nothing happens that day, then I get to feeling like crap and my veins are worse.....

Needing iv B12 is pretty intense. I had to do injections 2-3 times a week of b12, and I didn't wear shorts the entire time. I have a lot of small capillaries, and I bruise like crazy in my legs or stomach. I could use my butt, but it's pretty darned awkward getting a needle in your own rump.
