She's cute. I prefer the comb of the pekin. I actually have a pure silkie but she has a comb like other hens.

So she's got the form of a pekin, but the feathers of a silkie. That is very cute.

Pekin frizzles X Silkie Love them, though they brood like crazy! But otherwise great layers!

A few just look like silkies, other than only having four toes These two are 3/4 silkie though in their defence

had the worst shock ever the night before last i couldn't find one of my chickens when it was dark so i went back to bed and the next morning i went down to let my chickens out and found three of my chickens in the food drum my two silkie pekins were dead and my chicken that i was looking for the night before was nearly dead, i found out that my little brother had put them in there and they suffocated to death except 1 the worst is that i didnt notice the silkies gone

Does anyone know how to breed a Silked Pekin? Is it just a hybrid? Or a real breed? Do they breed true eventually.

I would cross a silkie with a pekin than cross the offspring together. F2 gen you should get some chicks with silkie feathering. Then start breeding just for pekin traits expect the feathers
