Anyone have a thought on how old this Cuckoo Marans is?

Not sure why she's not laying... she's old enough. Hopefully she'll start soon!!

I agree she's probably just a "mature" hen and is taking the winter off. I've had hens lay at 7 years, so I believe she'll give you SOME eggs, just not a high production amount. Also keep in mind I believe Maran's eggs get lighter as they age, so you probably won't get the dark chocolate eggs, more of a regular brown.
